It is efficient burnishing gum for edge and flesh side. Effectively suppresses roughness of leather. Gives smoothness to edges and flesh sides of leather. It also protects leather from dirt and keeps it in good condition.
Water based edge sealingTreatment the leather edge.
Edge Seal is a water-based primer for the leather edges of the skin. It produces a professional looking, smooth, shiny, burnished edge. It dries quickly and after application creates a coating resistant to moisture, bends and cracks.
How to use:
1.For best results, round off edge of leather with an edge beveler prior to application.
2.Apply a thin coat of WUTA edge sealing to beveled edge of leather with a cotton swab.
3.Polish the leather edge with 220 grit sandpaper.
4.Then smear WUTA edge sealing with a cotton swab again.
5.Polish the leather edge with 800 grit sandpaper and smear WUTA edge sealing with a cotton swab again.
6.Rub edge very briskly with an edge slicker,As the edge sealing dries and heats up due to friction caused by rubbing, treated edge will darken and shine. Repeat until desired burnish is achieved.
7.Use caution when applying Edge Seal on leather that is to be stained, antiqued or dyed, as it may resist or block penetration of some color.
